After looking into different programs and areas of emphasis, I decided to get my master's degree in communications with an emphasis in promotions.
I think it's pretty cool that I will be in the same boat as most of you who are reading this post. I will have homework, tests and presentations to worry about too, so I can relate!

Grad school has always been a dream of mine, but when I graduated with my bachelor's degree in 2012, I was tired of studying and ready for the "real world." After taking over a year off, I am ready to dive back in.
I am thankful to work at a place where higher education is valued (obviously – I work at a college), because I received the encouragement I needed to get started.
The classes I will take for my degree sound interesting and fun, which probably makes me a nerd, but I don't care. I hope that I can maintain this enthusiasm through my final semester. Ha.
Wish me luck and stay tuned for updates!
